In early June, Dr. Bruce Campbell presented his research, “Caribbean Students’ Social Adjustment” at the Caribbean Studies Association Conference in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe, Antilles Francaises. In early July, Dr. Campbell will present other research, “Caribbean Students’ Assimilation to a Culture at a Small Liberal Arts College,” at the Society for Caribbean Studies Conference at the University of Oxford, Oxford United Kingdom.  Both studies investigate the experiences of Caribbean college student’s social adjustments through their own voice.  The research has sparked policy and program changes on campuses concerning International and minority students.
