With 12 seconds left in overtime and the game tied at 79, the host Blazers inbounded the ball following a timeout, and senior guard Chris Cook make a go-ahead layup with three seconds left, giving Hood an 81-79 lead. Saltus then took the inbounding pass at the top-right of the three-point arc and took a couple steps before tossing up a shot from some 10′ beyond midcourt and drained it at the buzzer to give the Knights the 82-81 overtime victory.
