Parsons Dick Presents at the American Anthropological Association Meetings
In December, Dr. Hilary Parsons Dick, assistant professor of international studies, attended the American Anthropological Association Meetings in Washington D.C. to present her work on immigration policy as part of a panel called “Professional Divides III: Journalists and Anthropologists in Conversation About Language, Practice and Public Communication,” which featured several prominent journalists and anthropologists. The Panel received Executive Committee Invited Status, the highest ranking a panel can receive at the Meetings.
