Joy Alacar ’17M supervises the “crime scene.”

Students in the Master of Science in Forensic Science program took over the Train Room at the Franklin Institute for the Institute’s Science After Hours event on Oct. 13, where they staged a crime scene and set up tables with science activities, such as learning how to dust for fingerprints.

Science After Hours is a monthly evening event for people 21 years and older with experiments, demonstrations, games, and science projects in collaboration with organizations throughout the Philadelphia area.
