Bullinger won first place for Sleep, a series of five photographs depicting different sleeping scenarios, while Connors was named first runner-up for Escape Artist, a photograph of a woman with her arms wrapped around her back.
Creative Quarterly, a journal of art and design, highlights exceptional work in advertising, graphic design, photography, illustration, and fine art. Artwork, submitted by students and professionals, is judged by award-winning graphic designers, who select winners and honorable mentions in each category.
Bullinger’s piece will also be featured in Creative Quarterly’s print edition, sold at Barnes & Noble and independent bookstores in the U.S and Canada.
