Global Securities and Emergency Management major Maurice Scott ’17 has been selected to join the JLRacing Ambassador Team, a program aimed at bringing together amateur and elite athletes who share a passion for rowing and high performance gear. Scott, one of 150 rowers selected from more than 500 applicants worldwide, will represent his teammates on and off the water.

Scott has been rowing since his junior year of high school at Parkway Central, after developing an interest in rowing when his father took him to competitions as an elementary school student. During his study abroad experience in Australia, Scott also competed at the University of New South Wales.
