Public Health Career Professional Panel March 30

Public Health Week kicked off with the Public Health Career Professional Panel on Thursday, March 30. Arcadia University students interacted with successful Public Health professionals in the Philadelphia area as panelists shared their career challenges, accomplishments, and insights on how to navigate the Public Health job market.

Panelists included Kate Fox, MPH, senior research analyst for Community Behavioral Health; Lynn Martinsen, MPH, health risks programs manager for Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership; Jill Fink, executive director for Food Moxie; David Monico, MPH, CPH MTSS specialist for Climate Coach; Michel Masters, MPH HIV/STD program supervisor for Montgomery County Health Department; and Kourtney Pulliam, MPH project manager for the Public Health Management Corporation Community Approaches to Reducing Sexually Transmitted Disease Project.

Public Health Week continues through April 7, and includes workshops on stress relief, alcohol awareness training, and a film screening of Before the Flood.
