Dr. Rosoff Presents ‘Advice for High School Girls’ at Conference
On June 23, Dr. Nancy Rosoff, dean of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, presented “Career Girls and Homemakers: Advice for High School Girls” at the Society for the History of Children and Youth’s ninth biennial conference at Rutgers University.
This year’s theme, “Transition, Transaction, and Transgression,” highlighted studies on children and youth transforming themselves, society, and identity. Dr. Rosoff’s research focused on how Co-ed magazine influenced American teenage girls in the 1950s as they transitioned into adulthood.
