Atkins Publishes on Free Speech for Conservative Students
Larry Atkins, adjunct professor of English, published “There Should be Free Speech on College Campuses for Conservative Students, Conservative Speakers, and Liberal Professors” in the Huffington Post on Aug. 28. The op-ed addressed free speech on college campuses for conservative students at liberal universities.
Atkins wrote: “Universities shouldn’t shelter students and protect them in a liberal bubble. It’s good for them to be exposed to ideas that might differ from theirs.”
