On May 17, Professor of Education Dr. Graciela Slesaransky-Poe presented “The Changing Paradigm of Inclusive Education” at a conference organized by the International Institute for the Study of Culture and Education in Warsaw, Poland. Joined by students in the European Doctorate in Teachers Education (EDiTE) program at the University of Lower Silesia in Wrocław, Dr. Slesaransky-Poe addressed challenges to inclusive education, such as gender and racial profiling.

In addition to this presentation and panel discussion, Dr. Slesaransky-Poe led seminars on identity, disability, gender stereotyping, racial profiling, and other issues related to inclusive education for EDiTE researchers on May 16 and 18.
