Students Present at Math Association of America Conference
Students from Computer Science and Mathematics presented at the Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware (EPADEL) Mathematical Association of America Conference at King’s College in Wilkes Barre, Pa., on March 23.
The analytical research presented included:
- Carlie Banchi ’20, Shurong Huang ’19, and Chenrui Xu ’19 presented “A Monte Carlo analysis comparing ANCOVA, gain scores, and post-test only methodologies.”
- Nirali Patel ’19 presented “Using propensity scores in quasi-experimental analyses.”
- JunXuan Jiang ’19 and Yuqi Zheng ’19 presented “Actual Versus Effective Sample Size.”
- Taylor Byers ’19, Dongjian Hu ’19, Emily Rusack ’19, and John Zinzer ’19 presented “An analysis of Women with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) on Self-Care, Time Management, and Distress.”
- William Buhring ’19, Daniel Raskay ’20, and Ziqin Xu ’19 presented “Severe Accident Risk Factors.”
With 13 presenters, Arcadia was the most represented university at the conference.
