Chris Macchi ’12 was featured in a March 31 NBCSN segment, “Premier League Mornings Live,” for his Instagram series “On the Ground.” Macchi, who lives in London, uses the series to promote the English league to American audiences.

“It’s really just about the fan experience,” said Macchi, whose online presence revolves around what the game day for fans is like. “So, if someone comes on vacation to London, how do you get to Huddersfield? What do you have to do? Where do you get pies around London? We cover all of that,” explains Macchi.

Macchi, who studied Biology and played on the men’s soccer team at Arcadia, served as a media coordinator with Major League Soccer. Now, he works with Whistle Sports, collaborating with content creators, soccer clubs, and the Premier League.
