Simulation Experiences

In this dynamic simulation, PA and PT students engage in bedside rounding with a simulated patient to collaboratively address complex challenges related to patient discharge planning. This experience goes beyond clinical problem-solving, encouraging students to navigate thought-provoking communication scenarios and address critical social determinants of health (SDOH) that impact patient outcomes. Through this process, students gain valuable insight into interdisciplinary teamwork, empathy, and decision-making skills vital for today’s healthcare landscape.

Located at 125 Royal Avenue, our Simulation Center provides a cutting-edge setting for students to immerse themselves in realistic clinical experiences. Equipped with advanced video technology, the center enables students to reflect on their performance through recorded sessions, fostering a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth.
