Biography
Christine is a New York City Native, having spent over a decade as a professional Broadway actress, singer, and director before transitioning to academia at Wagner College to teach all three of those disciplines. There, she discovered her passion for student-centered work as a Professor in the Department of Theatre and Speech. After relocating with her family to Pennsylvania, her true dedication to student development led her to Kutztown University to obtain her Masters in Counseling, and is now a licensed Professional Counselor. During her tenure at KU, she was named the Director of University Well-Being and had the honor and privilege to lead the work of the award-winning PROFS program, which supports foster care youth in their pursuit of higher education.
In her current role as the Director of Student Engagement and Special Projects at Arcadia University, she is committed to fostering meaningful relationships within the community through strategic programming and initiatives. Her efforts create opportunities for students to connect through structured programs, student clubs, and organizations, and acts as an advisor to the student government organization. Christine is also proud to work in collaboration with Child Promise, Inc. to create the H.O.M.E Scholars Program, (Housing, Opportunity, Mentorship and Empowerment), a program that supports foster care youth at Arcadia University. Christine's goal is to empower students to thrive academically, professionally, and personally, cultivating a culture of kindness, resilience, and hard work. Her work contributes to the holistic development and success of all students, enriching their educational experience and preparing them for the future. Christine has two amazing children, a supportive and kind husband, and a loveable, very large dog named Otis.
