Orthopaedic Resident
Daniel Safford, PT, DPT, MAT, OCS, CSCS, is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and currently practices in outpatient orthopaedics with Burger Rehabilitation in Woodland, California. He completed his doctoral and residency training at Arcadia University where he is now an Assistant Professor in the hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy program, transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and the Orthopaedic Residency program. Dr. Safford previously provided treatment for the University of Pennsylvania’s DI athletics program, was the Lead Therapist at the Good Shepherd Penn Partners Arcadia University clinical site, is an award-winning researcher, and presents regularly at the local and national levels. He is involved in multiple studies funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Orthopaedic Academy of the APTA as a published member of the Arcadia University Shoulder Research Center. He is also a member of the Specialization Academy of Content Experts for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
