Krista received her B.F.A. in Painting from Arcadia University and her M.F.A. from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois where she taught 2D Fundamentals, Painting, Drawing and Figure Drawing. She currently teaches Studio Art Foundations and Exploring Art in Philadelphia . Krista also manages the Foundation studio wood shop at Arcadia University. She teaches children's courses at Symphony Art and Music School in North Wales, PA and has taught classes at Newark Art Alliance in Newark, DE. Krista has also been featured on Travel Channel's "The Dead Files" as a police sketch artist.
Krista has exhibited in Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, Normal, IL, Springfield, IL, and New York, NY. Her paintings question personal relationships, power relations and the process of painting, using bright colors, thick paint and figures.
Krista's home and studio are in Horsham, PA where she lives with her husband and Arcadia grad, Andy, and her pride and joy, her cats, Niko and Mouse.
