Lisa Akselrad, a proud alumni of Arcadia’s PA program, is an Academic Coordinator Assistant Professor and Director of Advising and Mentorship in the Department of Medical Sciences.   After working clinically in OBGYN for many years, she decided to focus her attention in academics.  She started guest lecturing for the program in 2008, then joined as an adjunct facilitator, and currently as a full time employee.  More than anything, she loves lecturing to her students especially seeing their “AHA” moments.  I feel honored that I am a part of the students’ journey to becoming amazing PAs. Personally, Lisa spends her time with her husband, three beautiful children and a fluffy husky. They constantly keep her busy. They love that Mommy works at a place where there is a castle!
