I coordinate and teach in the library’s information literacy instruction program, and I am the liaison to the School of Education and HAPS. I also work with students enrolled in First Year Seminar and English Composition courses, helping them build on their existing knowledge to develop their ability to successfully perform college-level research.

I am always eager to help students develop their research skills and to think critically and holistically about the way we create, share, and use information. That is why I also teach a First Year Seminar, Seems Legit: What's Real and What's Fake on the Internet, in which students learn about how various kinds of information gets and spreads online, think about how they determine what to believe, develop skills to verify information efficiently, and consider their own relationship to information, the internet, and social media.

I hold a BA in English from East Stroudsburg University and an MSLIS from Drexel University. Before coming to Arcadia, I was the Information Literacy and Outreach librarian at Lycoming College. I am an active member of the Pennsylvania Library Association and the Legislative Liaison on the College & Research Division board. I also serve as a Director-at-Large on the board of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of College & Research Libraries. When not on campus, you can find me exploring Philadelphia.
