Michelle is a Section Lead for the Hybrid DPT program's clinical education team. Michelle earned her DPT from University of Delaware in 2006 and works as a Pediatric Physical Therapist. She is a board certified and licensed Pedorthist. She also has experience as a small business owner working as a certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant.
Michelle has practiced in the acute, inpatient rehab, and outpatient pediatric settings and has spent a majority of her career working in the outpatient setting. Her clinical practice has focused on working with children with orthopedic and complex musculoskeletal conditions, particularly of the foot and ankle. She has a special interest in working with children with limb differences and assisted in founding Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Limb Differences Interdisciplinary Clinic. She is passionate about clinical mentorship and is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. She has been a clinical instructor, mentor, and educator for many years. She began her journey at Arcadia as an adjunct faculty member in 2009 and continues to participate in lectures and labs for both the Hybrid and Residential students. She enjoys working with students as they gain knowledge and practical skills throughout the curriculum.
