Zachary came to Arcadia as a guest lecturer and adjunct professor in the Physician Assistant program in 2014. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Zach worked as an athletic trainer at Penn State University and as an EMT in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. After completing his physician assistant training, Zach joined an orthopedic surgery practice in Virginia before relocating back to Pennsylvania. He has experience in all surgical specialties, with a focus on vascular, trauma, and renal transplant surgery. He has worked clinically at Lankenau Medical Center since 2008 in the surgery department where he has precepted students from multiple medical training programs in and around Philadelphia. He is also involved with the hospital's graduate medical education and helped to develop their Level II Trauma Program. He continues to serve as a medical provider in the PA Air National Guard. He came on board full-time as a core faculty member in 2017. He completed his doctorate training through MCPHS with a concentration in global health. His research interests include Global Health initiatives, trauma, military medicine, and disaster management. Zach lives in Maple Glen, PA with his wife and two children.
