At Arcadia, Honors Students a part of a supportive community. Honors Classes are especially fun because part of the focus will always be on creating community. Your classmates will be highly motivated and frankly, the best friends and teammates you could make.
Want to live with these awesome folks? Well, you can! We encourage Honors Students to consider living on the Self Care theme floor, which is in the same building as our Honors lounge, the Hive.
Outstanding Opportunities
The Honors program has numerous opportunities for you to get engaged beyond the classroom and exert your skillset to create a difference on our campus and beyond.
While there are so many things I love about our Honors Program, the best thing is OUR STUDENTS!

More About Mentoring Houses
First years are divided into houses, similar to Harry Potter, where they are eased into the program and college with an upperclassman support system. There are one-on-one meetings, 4-year-plan nights, and game nights. Students can propose their own events, meet with friends and connect with others within the program.
Build Your Community Through Communications: The Compass
- In the online scholarly journal, The Compass, Honors Students serve as editors, layout and business personnel. They meet with faculty and staff to publish a scholarly journal that takes submissions from around the globe. Honors Students serve as editors, layout, and business personnel.
