For Civic & Global Engagement Cohorts
This is an experience for students in the main cohorts associated with the Civic and Global Engagement House: International, FYSAE, SYSAE, Civic Scholars, and Heights students.
High Ropes, Low Ropes & Canoes
Join your Arcadia peers in Fairmount Park to participate in activities like low ropes, high ropes, and boating exercises run by Philadelphia Outward Bound School. Overcome these outdoor trials to expand your comfort zone, and grow in problem solving, teamwork, and leadership development. “By conquering your own challenges, you’ll discover your true potential and realize you are capable of more than you ever imagined.”
Community, Friends & Fun
Meet fellow Arcadia students who come from diverse backgrounds. Whether you are working together on the low ropes, cheering each other on the high ropes, laughing together as you canoe across sparkling waters, or chatting over a shared meal, you are sure to make friendships that will last a lifetime.
Stay In Beautiful Fairmount Park
Spend the weekend with other peers from the program in the Philadelphia Mansion, an historical hostel located in the heart of Fairmount Park, complete with full kitchen where you will enjoy meals together.
No Cost
This is a fully subsidized, no fee program!
