Research Areas
Students can conduct research with faculty on a diverse range of topics that include but are not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence and Automation
- Cloud Computing
- Cybersecurity
- Data Science/Data Mining
- Machine Learning
- Mobile Phone Programming
- Networking
- Software Development
Publications and Conferences
Our faculty work closely with students, who are interested in publishing papers, on a variety of research projects. We not only support the projects but also cover expenses associated with the projects, including publications and conference presentations.
Preparation for Graduate Programs
We mentor and assist students who are passionate about going to a graduate school after their undergraduate degree at Arcadia. Our faculty guide students in the whole process from start to finish and develop a roadmap earlier in their undergraduate studies to ensure that the students are prepared for the graduate school.
Capstone
During either junior or senior years students will take on a year-long capstone project that can be either applied (development of a software product) or research-oriented. In the research capstone, students would work in teams to conduct research in their area of interest.
