The International Business and Culture degree expects students to spend a semester or year studying abroad. Exciting opportunities are relatively easy to arrange through the Civic and Global Engagement. International Business and Culture students have studied on every continent except Antarctica. Students have found a variety of programs in a wide array of programs.
Since most required business courses are offered in Fall and Spring semesters, study abroad is all about planning. You can schedule study abroad in any semester, except spring of the senior year, which is when the Capstone course is taken. It is possible to do an internship with an international company in the Fall, Spring or Summer.
It’s important that you plan ahead for study abroad, you should visit the timeline for study abroad and consult with your advisers as early as possible to make your intentions known to the School of Global Business and the Civic and Global Engagement.
