The minor in Psychology provides a background in psychology for non-majors as part of their liberal arts education. The minor is valuable for any student with career or graduate school plans that are related to thought or emotional processes, human behavior, or social dynamics. For example, this may include students in natural sciences or on a pre-Health track (e.g., experimental research, healthcare); students in Business, Mathematics, or Computer Science whose work involves communication; student in Public Policy, Law, or Criminal Justice interested in decision-making, mental illness, or forensics; or students in Sociology interested in social work.
Students who want to complete a minor in Psychology should consult with the Department Chair.
