Yes, Arcadia's master's degree program accepts up to six transfer credits.  These cannot count towards the Capstone and Internship requirements. You can learn more about additional program requirements on our admissions page.

The application deadline for this program is April 1. We strongly encourage international students to apply early to account for the VISA process.  New students will start the program in the summer. You can learn more about dates and requirements on our admissions page.

While there is no specific GPA cutoff, we strongly recommend an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher for the MPH program. You can learn more about requirements on our admissions page.

The basic requirements for admission to the MPH program include:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Official transcripts from each college, university, or professional school attended
• Personal statement
• Two letters of recommendation
• Resume
• There is NO application fee.
• A course in statistics is strongly recommended

When you complete Arcadia's MPH degree, you can pursue a leadership role in public health, community health, health research, a non-profit, or health systems administration. Our MPH graduates have gone on to work in the field in leading public health positions, such as: an epidemiologist, environmental health specialist, health data specialist, senior research assistant, medical writer, and emergency management consultant.

While the majority of students in the MPH program are full-time, part-time students are welcomed!  Part-time students develop an individualized course plan with their academic advisor that meets their needs.

The MPH program includes a 200-hour internship.

At Arcadia University, you can complete the MPH program in one year as a full-time student.  Part-time students can complete the program in as little as two years and will develop an individualized course plan with their advisor. To learn more about the curriculum, visit our courses page.

Currently, Arcadia University does not offer opportunities to apply for scholarships for the MPH program. Please consider the following option regarding finances:

• Complete the FAFSA® to determine financial aid eligibility. Arcadia's FAFSA code is 003235.
• Paid Graduate Assistantship positions are available to apply for, both within the Public Health department and University.
