After rigorous evaluation at the 2015 X-Culture Symposium, Dr. Raghu Kurthakoti, assistant professor of marketing, was one of 25 instructors to receive the X-Culture Best Instructor Award.

The candidates competing for Best Instructor were scored based on 124 criteria, including class-average peer evaluations and student diligence. Personal performances in project preparation and report evaluations were also considered in an effort to narrow down the 136 participants.

Dr. Kurthakoti and his team of students represented Arcadia at X-Culture in November 2015. The symposium, organized as part of the Academy of International Business-Southeast USA Annual Conference, unites professionals from more than 100 universities in more than 40 countries to learn about cross-cultural virtual collaboration and provides substantial networking and employment opportunities for the 50 students invited to attend.
