June Yong Lee, associate professor of Art and Design, was invited to showcase at the 12th annual Jeonju International Photo Festival in Jeonju, South Korea from May 18 to 26. Submissions from 10 Arcadia University students were also showcased in the festival’s student photography exhibition.

Lee’s contribution, “Torso Series,” aimed to challenge beauty standards and encourage viewers to reflect on their body perceptions. His work was featured among a group exhibition titled “Body and Identity,” which explored the relationship between personal history and an individual’s body.

Lee gave an artist talk during the opening reception of the festival on May 18.
