Jan. 9: Arcadia Hosts Health Conference on Vaping, TB Screening, Eating Disorders, Pain
On Thursday, Jan. 9, Arcadia University’s Department of Student Health Services will host the Southeastern Pennsylvania College Health Nurses Association (SPCHNA) Winter 2020 Conference from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Mirror Room at Grey Towers Castle.
The purpose of the SPCHNA Conference is to increase participants’ knowledge and improve practices regarding vaping, tuberculosis screening and treatment, eating disorders, knee pain, and sexually transmitted infection screening.
The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation, has approved the conference for 5.25 contact hours.
