On March 6, Arcadia University welcomed back distinguished alum Camilo Lopez Delgado ’15 for an engaging lunch with current international students. Now serving as a member of Arcadia’s Board of Trustees, Camilo spoke about his time at Arcadia, his path to leadership, and his career in international relations, offering valuable advice to students navigating their own international experiences.

Camilo, who earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies & Cultural Anthropology, reflected on his time at Arcadia, where he was actively involved in student organizations, like Amnesty International and the Arcadia Radio Club, along with leadership roles like orientation leader. He encouraged students to embrace challenges, build strong networks, and take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.

The discussion provided a meaningful opportunity for current international students to ask questions and connect with someone who once stood in their shoes. As an advocate for global engagement and leadership, Camilo’s visit was a reminder of the strength and success of Arcadia’s international community and the impact of global education.
