Dr. Sandra Crenshaw, associate provost and accreditation liaison officer at Arcadia University, is part of the Expert Series for the education management company Podium Education. She recently published “What You Should Know about the Global Tech Experience,” the first in a five-part series that will “explore entrepreneurial strategies and savvy approaches to maximizing student learning and engagement in a new era.”  

Dr. Crenshaw writes: “This ever-changing world of our students’ global exploration becomes a critical pivot point in refocusing on what international educators have known for a long time: Global education has been rapidly evolving to offer programming that meets the needs of a changing global economy and workforce.”

At Arcadia, Dr. Crenshaw has been instrumental in developing initiatives with organizations such as the Peace Corps and Global Brigades in Central America and Africa, has taught at Jiangsu University in China, and has extensive experience developing and teaching in Arcadia’s signature Preview study-abroad program. 

Dr. Crenshaw also works at Arcadia with University and Academic Affairs planning, assessment, and oversight of nontraditional pathways such as summer programs and Dual Enrollment.
