Dr. Diana T. Noller DHSc, MSPT, MMS, PA-C, chair of the Department of Medical Science and director of the Physician Assistant program, received her Doctorate in Health Science from A.T. Still University.

Dr. Noller joined Arcadia’s Physician Assistant faculty as an assistant professor in 2009. Prior to her experience in higher education, she worked as a physical therapist at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and as a physician assistant at Reconstructive Orthopedics in New Jersey.

Dr. Noller’s scholarship includes publications and national presentations on disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, back and knee pain, childhood obesity, and health care pedagogy, as well as qualitative research on mothers’ experiences with child-to-parent violence.  

In 2013, she served as a content expert in orthopedic surgery for the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants’ Certificates of Added Qualifications Standard Setting Committee, and currently serves on the Finance Council for the Physician Assistant Education Association.

“According to a recent survey of faculty in the Northeast region of the United States, Diana is one of approximately 30 percent of PA educators with an advanced degree,” said Dr. Rebecca Craik, dean of the College of Health Sciences. “We are fortunate to have this outstanding teacher-scholar on our campus, leading the program in Physician Assistant studies.”

In addition to her doctorate, Dr. Noller earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The College of New Jersey in 1995, graduated summa cum laude from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000, and graduated from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program with distinction in 2005.
