Knight to Know: Chloe Fox ’24

By Ryan Hiemenz | May 9, 2024
Chloe Fox Honors Convocation 2024 student

Hometown: Honesdale, Pa.

Major: Computer Science

Minor: Mathematics and Statistics

Extracurriculars: I’ve been an active member of the honors program since my freshman year, taking on roles as a House mentor, CAMP tutor, and Beekeepers committee coordinator. Currently, I hold the position of co-president in the program as the BOB: Bee of Belonging. I am part of Arcadia’s National Cyber League (NCL) team, which is a cybersecurity competition that we participate in as a team every spring and fall. I am also part of our programming competition team where we travel to Wilkes University every spring to participate in a day-long programming competition.

Favorite Arcadia memory: Going to the midnight viewing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show every year with all my friends to have fun, support a great cause, and celebrate the hard work of the honors students!

Post-grad plans: Post graduation, my goal is to get a job in the cybersecurity field. Specifically, I would like to work as a penetration tester where I would help assess and enhance the security infrastructure of organizations in order to help keep sensitive data safe from cyber criminals or other threat actors.

Special shoutout to the professors in the Honors Program and the Math and CS department for all that you have done to help get me to where I am today!

Fox was awarded the Sigma Zeta Award in Computer Science at this year’s Honors Convocation. “She has been fully dedicated to making a positive impact in every project in which she has been involved,” said the faculty who nominated her, “Chloe leaves no stone unturned with her exceptional academic and leadership skills.”
