School of Global Business Instructor Meg Nolan and Associate Professor Dr. Raghu Kurthakoti were published in The Palgrave Handbook of Learning and Teaching International Business and Management.

Nolan and Kurthakoti’s chapter, “Short Term International Travel Experience (SITE) As a Learning Model for International Education,” describes two short-term international travel experiences at Arcadia: Preview and Global Field Study programs. The chapter focuses on how these programs enhance “cultural competence” among involved students.

Dr. Kurthakoti also co-wrote the chapter “Evaluating Outcomes of Experiential Learning–an Overview of Available Approaches” with Deborah C. Good from the University of Pittsburgh. This section examines the values and restrictions of approaches used to study “experiential learning outcomes.”
