Artist Abbey Ryan ’03, associate professor of Visual and Performing Arts, will perform a live painting demonstration on Nov. 2 from noon to 2 p.m. on the staircase landing of Grey Towers Castle. Ryan has conducted live painting demonstrations since 2011, with all proceeds from the auction of the painting donated to Arcadia’s Jami Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship.

Ryan started the live demonstrations to honor the memory of her peer and friend, Jami Rodriguez ’00. The scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students who have made significant contributions to campus life and community service.

The event is open to the public and will also be livestreamed.
