T.J. Scollan Brings Academic, Athletic Talents to Arcadia University
T.J. Scollan ‘25, a transfer student-athlete from Ocean County College, has found a new home at Arcadia University to pursue his academic and athletic careers.
As a four-year member and captain of the soccer team at Toms River High School in New Jersey, Scallon helped lead his team to the state sectional final in his senior year. After high school he spent one year at Ocean County College, where was a member of the men’s soccer team that reached the Region XIX DIII Finals.
Now he’s brought his talents to Arcadia, where he’s currently a midfielder on the men’s soccer team and a sports management major.
“I really like the campus and am impressed with the school,” said Scollan. “They have the classes and major I want to study, and everything here just fits really well. I visited a few times before moving in and am really excited to be here.”
Currently, the men’s soccer team has a 6-3-2 record with an overall goal lead over their opponents of 21-11. The Knights began MAC Freedom play with a 2-0 loss to Misericordia University, however, they will have a chance to bounce back on Oct. 8 with a home game against Lycoming College as part of Homecoming & Family Weekend on campus.
