Biography
Dr. Yanxia Jia is a Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science & Math at Arcadia University. She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from Harbin Engineering University, China, a Master's degree in Computer Science from North China Institute of Computing Technology, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Alberta, Canada.
Dr. Jia's research interests include computer networks, mobile computing and machine learning. During her time at Arcadia University, she has taught various Computer Science courses and mentored undergraduate research projects in multiple areas, such as wireless sensor networks, mobile health, and social media.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, dancing and martial arts.
