Top Databases for Public Health
PubMed The public interface for the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE database, containing millions of abstracts and links to full-text articles in the health sciences. PubMed is considered the go-to resource for the biosciences. Searching can be done with either free text or the controlled vocabulary of Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).

Biomedical Reference Collection* Compare to PubMed. Contains over 4,000 full-text journals covering a variety of disciplines ranging from and the health sciences to the health care system.
The Cochrane Library "Cochrane" is a well-regarded, regularly updated collection of review abstracts on many medical topics. Their resources include their database of Systematic Reviews, Clinical Trials, and Clinical Answers.
