Glenside, Pa. – A retrospective exhibition including watercolors, drawings and paintings by Ruth Fine, museum curator for the Alverthorpe Gallery, will be held at Beaver College, Easton and Church Roads, Glenside, in the Richard E. Fuller Gallery of art from November 16 through December 5. The opening reception will be held on Friday, November 16 from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. On Monday, November 19 at 4:30 PM, Ms. Fine will discuss her work at a lecture in the gallery. These events are open to the public without charge.
In addition to numerous exhibitions and literary publications, Ms. Fine has lectured on various aspects of print history at museums and colleges throughout the country. She has served as juror for several national and regional art exhibitions and as a guest artist at Tamarind Institute of Lithography.
Ms. Fine has served on the board of directors of The Print Club and is a member of the Grolier Club and The Print Council of America.
She is a former faculty member of the fine arts department at Beaver College and of the University of Vermont.
