Connection
I recall Arcadia having a group or student organization for everything and everyone. When there wasn’t a student organization, Arcadia had the platform and support that allowed students to create what they wanted to see. Arcadia’s commitment to inclusion and community was apparent to me the moment I stepped on campus and is what inspired my dedication to service and community engagement. Since Arcadia, when I see a need for an organization or a group, I create it. I’ve launched and grown numerous groups for professional women, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits.
Best Advice
Keep in touch with your professors on LinkedIn. Connect with them from time to time via email or phone. Whether you need references, advice, or connections for a job opportunity, your Arcadia professors are an incredible resource and willing to help and support you even after graduation. Also, be sure to keep in touch with the University. Arcadia has a wealth of resources for alumni and a vast alumni network.
The Best is Yet to Come
I’m rarely stumped by a question; yet, ask me to name my greatest achievement and I’ll struggle. After graduating from Arcadia, I went on to obtain master’s degrees in both Psychology and Business. I’ve built and grown multiple successful companies. I’m writing my first book. Yet, what brings me the most pride is how I’ve changed the lives of my clients. I consider this impact my legacy.
