Most Cherished Arcadia Memory
My favorite memory is studying for Medical Genetics with my friends. We would come up with the craziest ways to remember things, and we had so many laughs.
Life Comes Full Circle
My greatest and proudest accomplishment is teaching the Introduction to Cancer Genetics course for Arcadia’s Genetic Counseling program. It was my favorite class during graduate school, and it is incredibly rewarding to be on the other side of the podium. I enjoy giving lectures and have been very impressed with the students’ insightful comments and questions. I’ve also gained a new appreciation for all my former teachers and professors—organizing a class is a lot of work.
In Five Years
I hope to participate in genetic-counselor-driven research with the goal of publication and presentations at national meetings.
