Most Cherished Arcadia Memory
Oddly enough, my best memories of the Arcadia experience were not at Arcadia, but abroad. Arcadia, however, made it all possible and significantly broadened my horizons, opportunities, and view of the world. I will never forget the dozens of sunrises from my surfboard in Australia or the high-fives from my ultimate frisbee teammates in Venezuela.
How to Find Success
Just get started in whatever opportunity that presents itself is best, regardless of if it’s your ideal job. Then work hard, show enthusiasm, and take calculated risks to pursue your dreams. Be passionate about what you do, learn to collaborate, and live for something bigger than yourself. People desire leaders who pursue principles and virtues and exude selfless leadership— develop yourself into that person, and others will follow.
Where I’ll be in Five Years
We have spent the last 12 months re-engineering our company to focus on inspiring our readers and clients to pursue and achieve what is most meaningful to them. Five years from now, it is my goal to build my publishing company to grow to more than 40 magazines across the nation and empower our team so that I can maintain a better work-life balance. I anticipate traveling more often with my family and working on meaningful projects that invest in people and communities.
Be passionate about what you do, learn to collaborate, and live for something bigger than yourself.
