Confidence
The culture of Arcadia has had a supreme influence on how I interact with others from varying backgrounds and levels, especially in the workplace. Because Arcadia exposed me to a variety of opportunities, I became familiar with many environments and learned to be comfortable with who I am.
Lifelong Memories
Arcadia was the setting for so many memories and, most importantly, friendships that led to lifelong memories. An experience that I truly cherish is getting to be a part of the first Preview trip to Scotland. The country was amazing in every way. The trip not only solidified my love of travel but also showed me that I could learn so much during my time at Arcadia, both in the classroom and beyond.
Work-Life Balance
I decided a long time ago to throw out the traditional five-year plan and to focus on core drivers that fuel my passions and allow my talents to grow instead.
Every opportunity I’ve taken aligns with these drivers. In the past five years, I’ve gotten married, had two amazing children (with a third due this summer), and transitioned into a new role at work. In the next five years, I hope to keep all of this in balance while also being the best woman, wife, mother, and professional that I can be.
There is unprecedented growth happening within my company right now, which brings many opportunities to keep my family a priority while helping to bring my company into the future.
Because Arcadia exposed me to a variety of opportunities, I became familiar with many environments and learned to be comfortable with who I am.
