Computer Science Students Participated in ICPC 2019
Six of our students participated in the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) on November 9th, 2019, Mid-Atlantic region.
Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

The contest ran for 5 hours and the participants had to solve 8 problems. One of the trickiest parts of this contest is that every team of three students has only 1 computer to work on, so they have to manage their time wisely and coordinate well within the team.
This competition also challenges students to creatively approach the problems, thinking out of the box.
Training for ICPC takes a lot of time and dedication. Together with computer science and math faculty, our students have been practicing and solving previous years’ problems as well as preparing for technical interviews using such platforms as LeetCode and CodeWars. Join us next fall!
