Living Your Best Life: An Arcadia Bucket List
My freshman year, I made the decision to move 1,169 miles away from my hometown in Florida to Glenside, Pa. All my friends who stayed in Florida were attending huge universities in big bustling cities where there were 300+ people in each classroom.
No matter where you are, college is that time in life when we should go out and explore. See everything you can. Learn everything there is to learn.

When I first visited Arcadia University during my senior year of high school, I couldn’t think of a more perfect location for a college. Philadelphia is just a short train ride away, but the campus is not in the middle of the city. I can still get peaceful sleep at night, free from honking horns and bright traffic lights. I feel this location is perfect for people like me, whom I call “Extraverted-Introverts.” I enjoy all the activity that happens in the city, and all the people walking with purpose to their destination, but I also enjoy the charm of small towns where there are cute coffee shops and the possibility of becoming a regular at places.
No matter where you are, college is that time in life when we should go out and explore. See everything you can. Learn everything there is to learn. Have fun! Take the wrong train, get a little lost, and just enjoy the present.
I plan to make the most of my time here, and therefore came up with a bucket list. A lot of the events are offered at Arcadia, but some of them require you to venture out on your own.
Some of the things I put on the list can also be done alone and can serve as your self-care activity of the day. Taking care of your mental health is very important, especially during college when stress is amplified. A bucket list can help!
And remember: If you take pictures doing any of the things on the list, tag Arcadia on Instagram!
